Our Trip a Month Ago

Wow, things have been busy this last month. I'm just now getting around to putting up pics from our trip to Sea World. We stayed at a great hotel with killer swimming pool and water slide. The kids (and the adults) had a ball!

Luke's Rat

OK, so out of all the stuff everyone got Luke for his birthday, by far, his favorite is his rat. The rat has a neat story. Evidently, someone left it outside of an RA's door in dorm. The RA thought that the Psychology department could use it, but it's not the correct strain and wouldn't work in our lab. Our lab manager was looking for a good home for it so I thought it would make a neat treat for Luke.

I got to tell you, he LOVES "Sprit". Each morning he's asked to get him out of his cage and he's very well behaved. He sits quietly in Luke's lap and they hang out. The trick is just keeping him away from Amigo!

Grandmommy and Poppy gave Luke a tiger (it's not Mike Tyson's) and Luke thought Spirit would enjoy playing on it.

Luke's Birthday

Luke's birthday was a hoot. Nana came in for the weekend, we ate too much, and Chuck-E-Cheese was big fun, too!

Christmas and Santa!

We had a special arrangement with Santa this year and he came on December 26th. Gary came down for the festivities and a good time was had by all! Kendall's big Santa present was a doll house and Luke's was a Hot Wheels race track.

Thanks to everyone who sent presents. We tried to get pictures of all the great gifts but some of them didn't come out so well. Here's the ones that we though were worthy of putting on the blog.

Who would have known that Luke's 4 dollar Zhu Zhu pet would have been such a hit...

This was a really cool present Gary brought. It made crystals that grew overnight.

It was almost bed time and we told Kendall to smile for the camera. This was the best she could do :-)

Kendall's First Trip to the Dentist

It was her first trip and she was very brave! She did so well that they were able to even do her first fluoride treatment.
