Book Fair

I had to work at an Armstrong Preview Day (a recruitment event) so Jen took the kids to the book fair. The big hits were the "reading dogs" and the different masks they got to make!

The Stahler's sent Kendall some sidewalk paint for her birthday. We were waiting for just the right time to open it and we finally found that time. Kendall loves it!!!

Finally, for a super cute version of Kendall doing the Pledge of Allegiance click on me.

Halloween!

Halloween was big fun. We carved pumpkins, the kids got lots of candy, and we had a pool party on Sunday.

Luke drew a cat on this one and I cut it out. He was very proud of his artwork!

We were so busy during the party that I didn't get any pictures. Here's what it looked like just before anyone got here:

First Swim

So we weren't actually planning to swim. There are no chemicals in the pool and there isn't a heater, but the kids started playing in the fountains and getting wet. We told them to go ahead and put on their suits, never thinking they would get in the (VERY cold) water. We'll, we were wrong....

Since its our pool we told them not to go potty in it. This is Kendall's attempt to go in the yard :-)

A Day With Daddy!

Jen and her mom went on a girl's trip so Kendall and Luke got "Daddy Time" from Friday afternoon until Sunday afternoon. Saturday the kids made their own pizzas (Daddy made his own, too!) and they seemed to have fun.

Kendall put on Luke's boy PJ's and they both thought it was a hoot :-)

Family Day at Gulfstream

Each year Gulfstream has a big "Family Day" with food, rides, games and fun for the whole family. It was warmer than we were expecting but there were lots of things to do to keep our minds off the heat. The kids had a great time!

Georgia Southern had an animal exhibit including this bald eagle they were rehabilitating:
A snake to pet:
A naked rat:
Carnival games:
Mmmmmm, funnel cakes.....

Mmmmmmmmmmmm, Cotton candy.....

Even Closer....

The deck is painted and the fountains are working. All that's left is sod, the heater, and the fence!
